About the event
How can we most effectively advocate for animals in a rapidly changing world?
This Transfarmation Austria event brings together two thinkers at the intersection of ethics, activism, and technology. Elena Bräu (Effective Animal Advocacy Austria) explores the moral and strategic dimensions of charitable giving for animals by asking how effective donations can serve as a powerful extension of activism and even a moral duty. Kevin Xia (Hive) then examines how artificial intelligence is reshaping the landscape of animal advocacy, urging the movement to think creatively about "asymmetric" strategies that leverage AI for lasting change. Together, these talks invite reflection on how compassion, critical thinking, and innovation can transform our relationship with non-human animals. Also offering us important areas from which to think about the future of Transfarmation as a movement.
